Rising Iris

A$2,000.00

Every flower has a memory, a story, or is a reminder for me. I am always inspired by the beauty, elegance and tranquillity of flowers, nature and light, and I find watercolour the most tender medium to capture a hint of such beauty. When painting with watercolour, I must surrender and be at the present moment, to let the colours run through water and trust that they will manifest how I feel at that moment.

When I organised these gorgeous Irises, I was inspired by Ikebana arrangements. I stepped back and saw that there is so much beauty to feel inspired, to feel limitless, to feel we can start again to create on the empty canvas of every day... but we (or at least I) need constant reminders to feel all these limitless possibilities. These rising Irises were a reminder for me, the day I painted them.💜

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION

Medium

Watercolour on cold-press watercolour paper

Details

My artworks are signed at the front and are sold unframed. Framing is a personal choice and most people prefer to choose their own frame, based on their interior design. When framing a watercolour painting, please ensure to use a Paspartu (a matboard frame) to prevent the glass and the image from touching, and also to increase the visual appeal of the painting. Using a Paspartu will increase the framing size, though.

Size

53 cm (W) x 73 cm (H)

The measures provided are based on size of the watercolour surface. There are small margins that will be covered by Pasrpartu, when framing.

Free Shipping

Free shipping Australia wide. Leaves artist's studio in 1-3 working days.

Return and refund of the intact artwork: up to two weeks.

The return shipping cost is not covered.
