When There is a Shadow, Look for the Light
Every flower has a memory, a story, or is a reminder for me. I am always inspired by the beauty, elegance and tranquillity of the nature and light, and I find watercolour the most tender medium to capture a hint of such beauty. When painting with watercolour, I must surrender and be at the present moment, to let the colours run through water and trust that they will manifest how I feel at that moment.
I painted this piece going through a dark time, seeking some light in the joys of painting. As I finished the work and stepped back looking at it, I saw how I was focused on the darkness of what was happening and forgot how it was the manifestation of the light in the background.

Artwork Description
My artworks are signed at the front and are sold unframed. Framing is a personal choice and most people prefer to choose their own frame, based on their interior design. When framing a watercolour painting, please ensure to use a Paspartu (a cardboard frame) to prevent the glass and the image from touching, and also to increase the visual appeal of the painting. Using a Paspartu will increase the framing size, though.
